I created Tirion to help organizations find the right donors.

I believe our communities are best supported by a robust non-profit ecosystem, and the donor is the driver of that work.

Whether it is educating, providing healthcare, science and research, promoting the arts, helping those in need, and everything in between, Tirion hopes to empower those organizations with the right information for the right ask.

Four commitments

These are obligations, not features. They constrain what Tirion is allowed to say.

  1. Public record only

Every fact comes from a record anyone can go and read: SEC filings, IRS returns, FEC contributions, county assessors. Nothing is bought from a data broker. Nothing is scraped out of someone's private life.

  2. Every claim keeps its source

A figure that cannot be traced back to a document does not get published. When an estimate is modelled rather than recorded, it says so, next to the number.

  3. We say what we do not know

Coverage is uneven because the public record is uneven. A thin profile stays thin. An absence of evidence is reported as an absence, never as a zero and never filled in with a guess.

  4. Research ethics come first

Our practices align with APRA's Statement of Ethics for prospect development. A prospect is a person before they are a record, and the work should be something you would be comfortable explaining to them.
